MICT Housing Survey

Communities Housing Trust (CHT) have been commissioned by Mull and Iona Community Trust (MICT) to carry out three detailed surveys that will help to guide housing development on Mull.

Mull and Iona Community Trust (MICT) is committed to the development of affordable housing that will both stem the tide of depopulation and provide a safe, warm and affordable home for those in need.

MICT are investigating the feasibility of two developments – one in Salen which could provide up to 20 new homes and a smaller plot at Fishnish, with potential for 3 homes. In order to establish the suitability of both sites, MICT will be carrying out full feasibility works.
A significant part of this is MICT's commitment to consult with the community across the islands and beyond – MICT will only commit to develop where there is a clear need and also where there is local community support.

These surveys are the first step in gathering your situation, views and opinions, so please support MICT by completing the relevant survey / surveys as fully as possible, and sharing both locally, and with those looking to move/return to Mull but are struggling to find a home.

Please the survey relevant survey/s.  Only one survey per household / business should be completed.   Closing date:  16 June 2024
